Megève, an Alpine village in southeast France, is an easy kid-friendly vacation destination. You can get there in less than an hour from both Geneva and Chamonix, and within a few moments your family will be enjoying a variety of downhill ski runs and cross-country trails. In summer, the mountains become forested wonderlands with some of the best panoramic views in Europe. Year-round, the town itself has a nice selection of restaurants and shops to keep everyone happy on and off the mountain.
