Amy Andrews came to freelance travel writing after a career in corporate communications. While living in London with her husband and two children, Amy traveled extensively across Europe, instilling a love for travel in her family that has grown over the years to include destinations such as Japan, China, Turkey and Israel. She has since parlayed these experiences into a voice as a trusted source of family travel expertise. In addition to travel writing, she devotes time to writing for nonprofits to raise their voices in the community through organizations like SHARE Charlotte.
Amy holds a degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and splits her time between Charlotte, North Carolina, and New York City. When she isn’t writing, you can find her reading, practicing yoga, running and, most recently, chasing after her new puppy.
