Before Becoming an Advisor …

My family and I packed up, sold the boat and hit the pavement! We traveled extensively all around the US in our travel trailer, while running our own claims business and road-schooling. It was the most beautiful, adventurous – and crazy – 2 years of our lives! Before that, I was the manager at a chiropractors office, an event coordinator for a major marketing company, and an (off-off-off-broadway) actress in NYC. I guess you can say I’ve always been a seeker!!

My Favorite Travel Experiences

My first major trip overseas was to this little town in Ghana called Hohoe (ho-hway). I spent a month exploring the Volta Region- swimming in Wli Falls, cave-diving with bats and pounding FuFu with the locals. This trip changed my life and I knew that I would spend the rest of it, chasing these culturally immersive experiences. When I had my kids, this feeling was amplified! I wanted them to have these same global experiences and to be changed in their own unique ways – from watching their eyes light up in a London theater to trying new flavors on a food tour in Florence.

Why I Love My Job

When I’m creating trips for my clients, I’m genuinely excited for them! Sometimes I feel like a detective- searching, discovering, putting all the pieces together, like a puzzle. And I know that on the other side of this beautifully crafted itinerary, are moments they will carry forever. This is something I take seriously and I feel honored in the trust that has been given to me. Being able to combine my love of exploration with a side of luxurious amenities (I mean, who doesn’t love a nice hotel robe?!) is just the icing on the cake!
