Before Becoming an Advisor …

I was a college biology professor. I have always loved wildlife and spending time in nature whether teaching or traveling.

My Favorite Travel Experiences or Destinations

My favorite travel experiences combine local culture, spending time outdoors and observing wildlife. My kids and I have visited the Tiger Reserves in India, swum with Whale Sharks in Mexico, and hung out with kangaroos on the beach in Australia. We have been lucky to experience many amazing outdoor activities in our travels including hikes in Norway, Nepal, and a winter hike through the snow to a frozen waterfall in Slovenia. We also enjoy taking cooking classes and meeting local artists when we travel.

Why I Love My Job

Connecting with families and helping them craft their dream vacations is one of my favorite parts of this job. I love using my knowledge and passion for travel to plan one-of-a-kind experiences. Family travel provides many opportunities to create special memories that last a lifetime, and I am grateful to play a role in creating those experiences.
