Gstaad works very well as a family vacation destination, in part because it is easily accessible from both Zurich and Geneva. Its relative isolation means older children can have some autonomy and explore safely on their own. It doesn’t get more kid-friendly than that! While Gstaad has a jet-set crowd, families still feel comfortable enough to enjoy this stunning Alpine setting. One of our favorite properties in Switzerland is found in Gstaad; it is known for its incredible luxury yet relaxing and kid-friendly ambience, a combination that can be hard to find. Children need not tiptoe here; instead, they’re welcomed with open arms.
