I was a fashion designer and merchandiser in the accessory market (tons of travel!), switched gears to do a lot of volunteering and then started my own business making apparel for girls who play hockey.
My family has been so fortunate to do a lot of multigenerational travel, which really capture moments in time in my memory: U.S. road trips covering everything from the Freedom Trail in Boston to the rugged coastline of Oregon; a London visit where my dad and husband got their history fix at the Churchill War Rooms, while the rest of the family was thrilled to take in the Warner Bros Studio London Harry Potter Tour and see One Direction and Beatles sites in the city. And flying across South Africa in a chartered plane with friends and standing beside the paw of the Sphinx in Egypt — alongside so many other incredible memories — make me realize there is SO much more in our world to see!
Each client brings something different to the table — learning what makes each family excited about travel is both interesting and exciting! I love the collaboration and plan each trip as if it were my own. I especially love when clients get excited to plan trips for the next year and beyond, trusting me with the time they cherish most as they experience a destination for the very first time. Of course, I may be biased, but I truly believe that travel is the most important gift you can give your family (and yourself).
