Before Joining Ciao Bambino …

Before working for Ciao Bambino, I worked for close to a decade in film and TV. I’ve done almost every job on set but I spent most of my career in the costume department. I’ve been transitioning out of that industry and have been working as a birth doula for the past few years in addition to my role as an Advisor. I’ve absolutely loved supporting my clients as they grow their families and adapt to traveling with kids of different ages.

My Favorite Travel Experience

I went to Paris with my husband when I was pregnant, and stayed at some of the amazing hotels that I book for families— it was fun to see those accommodations firsthand. We loved exploring all the different neighborhoods, seeing all the great museums, taking day trips like a bike tour of Versailles and really immersing ourselves in Parisian culture.

Another incredible trip was when my best friend got married in Malaysia. A big group of my college friends took the trip together and followed up the wedding with Bali and Vietnam. It was truly the trip of a lifetime. What made it so special was getting to experience the little-known areas that only a local would know, since my friend is from Malaysia and had all the inside knowledge. Having that guide to lead you through a new experience really takes a trip to the next level.

Why I Love My Job

I absolutely love getting the opportunity to be that guide to families that my friend was to me when I was in Malaysia. Assisting in creating unforgettable trips that make lifelong memories makes my job extremely rewarding. I also love working with great vendors whom I know are going to create amazing experiences for my clients that they might not be able to get anywhere else. Plus there’s the fun bonus of getting the inside scoop on places and adding to my own personal bucket list of where I want to go next!
