I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world with my jobs and to follow my passions. During my time in food manufacturing, I managed partnerships based in Sweden and the Czech Republic and worked closely with senior management based in Switzerland. As a dedicated yoga student and teacher, I have traveled to India to study yoga and have many global connections with other yogis. I have planned so many family and extended family trips, from Alaska to Auckland and Switzerland to Hawaii, with a heavy emphasis on annual ski trips throughout the US and Europe.
It’s all about the connections for me! When my daughters were young, we went with another family on a girls’ trip to Switzerland. There was a night in Murten at dinner, where the adults sat and enjoyed conversation all night long and the kids played soccer in a big field with Swiss-German kids. By the end of the night, the kids were all sitting in a circle teaching each other bits and pieces of their languages. In the Yorkshire Dales, we spent New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day with a lovely family from Auckland. Hiking in the Dolomites, my daughter and I connected with a couple of lovely young women from Austria and spent the day together. In the evenings, we played cards with everyone at the Rifugios. It is so fun to meet people from all over the world!
I find that travel fits perfectly with all that I learn in yoga because it is so easy to stay fully present IN THIS MOMENT while exploring new cultures and meeting new people. Travel brings so much joy.
I love helping create new connections and opening up possibilities for families. Through research, knowledge and experience, I am empowering people to feel comfortable and confident taking their families around the Globe. I love that I can be immersed in Rome hotels in the morning and finding the perfect sailing trips in Thailand in the afternoon!
