We received a reduced, media rate for our stay at the Haven in Paris apartment, but were not required to write about or express any specific opinions about our stay. As always, our opinions are our own.
As I sit here to write about our recent family trip to Paris, I am transported back to our luxury Parisian apartment rental in the St-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood (6th. Arrondissement), on the busy Boulevard St. Germain, Paris. The click of the key in the door, the creak of the wood floors and how the old planks felt on my bare feet in the morning. Sitting at the window, sipping a glass of wine with the sounds of the busy street below instantly calmed my mind. There is something magic about renting an apartment in Paris that helps you “try on” what it would be like to live in this magical city.
For our first apartment in Paris, we used the luxury apartment rental service, Haven in Paris and were impressed with the attention to detail in our property, follow up and great service at every turn.
The first floor, two bedroom/one bath Haven in Paris unit we stayed in Paris was the Boulevard St. Germain. It was the perfect size for our family of four, with a queen bed in the master, and two twins in the second bedroom. I fell in love with the chevron-pattern hardwood floors, and the unit was impeccably decorated in simple Parisian chic art and details.
The washer and dryer and full kitchen were invaluable for making coffee, cooking light meals and doing quick loads of laundry mid-trip. The unit came equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including a stack of Paris guidebooks, a small desk and laptop for guests to use. When we arrived, a chilled bottle of rose wine was waiting for us in the fridge, with fresh flowers on the table, and I even found electrical converters in one of the drawers.
What we loved most about this Haven in Paris apartment was the location. It is located in the heart of the bustling St. Germain neighborhood on the edge of the Latin Quarter, with easy walking access to the Metro, the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, Notre Dame and endless shops, restaurants, boulangeries and cafes.
All Haven in Paris apartment rentals come with luxury concierge services including a private greeter, detailed guidebook for your apartment and surrounding area, restaurant recommendations, weekly cleaning, free unlimited calls from the apartment to the United Kingdom, Europe, France, USA, Canada, Australia, among other countries. Want to ramp up the luxury a bit? Haven in Paris offers spa, chauffeur and other luxe services to pamper you in Paris.
Haven in Paris currently offers apartment rentals in Paris, London, Provence and Tuscany and we will certainly look at using Haven in Paris again for future trips to Europe. A service like Haven in Paris takes the headache out of trying to find the perfect apartment that fits our “travel style.” The experience of our stay was consistent with the content they share online and it is clear the HiP team loves to travel like we do, saving me time in my search. Particularly in Paris, I love the wide selection of bright and spacious units in posh and hip/trendy neighborhoods, including the Marais, St. Germain du Pres, and Montmartre, helping me narrow down where to stay quickly.
