CB! Approved Hotels and Resorts

The Grove bills itself as ‘London’s country estate’ and being just a half hour drive from central London — it’s spot on. A beautifully restored stately home, once the scene of lavish royal house parties, forms the hub of this rural resort. Luxuriously appointed bedrooms look out over the beautifully landscaped traditional English formal gardens. The beach and indoor and outdoor swimming pools form part of the family-centric walled garden and are a new addition since Queen Victoria’s time! Parents can relax at the spa while their kids are having fun at Anoushka’s kids’ club which has a large indoor and outdoor space and accepts children from three months to 11 years. There are several great restaurants from which to choose, but the buffet-style Glass House tends to work best with children. Families can spend days just exploring the resort itself, but the hotel is just a short spell away from Harry Potter World and the sites and attractions of central London are a few stops away by train as well.
