    Reykjavik, South Coast, South East

    7 Days

Epic and inspiring, Iceland has incredible treasures in store for active families of all ages. Snorkel at Silfra in Thingvellir National Park, home to some of the earth’s clearest water. Head out from the coast on a whale safari, hike ancient volcanos and majestic glaciers, photograph puffins and amaze your kids with the black sand of Reynisfjara Beach. And, of course, soak in the country’s famous volcanically heated springs, including the oldest hot pool in Iceland and the unbeatable Blue Lagoon. Iceland’s dramatic landscapes inspired Jules Verne’s Journey to the Center of the Earth — allow this enchanting country to make the same indelible impact on your family.

  • You do not have to avoid Iceland in the winter, but packing the proper gear is essential as the temperature can drop to –30C.
  • When visiting Iceland, always be prepared for rapid changes in weather as it is not unusual to experience multiple seasons in the same day.
