Idaho isn’t top of mind for most families when it comes to the best vacation destinations. But that’s a shame, because this Western state is full of kid-friendly adventures with a perfectly rugged, beautiful backdrop. Snow sports abound in the winter months, and summer beckons with whitewater rafting, horseback riding and incredible hikes.
