I owned a computer software company for 15 years that allowed me to travel to many parts of the world. It was here that I acquired the skill of listening to and understanding what clients really wanted and helping them to achieve their goals. I have lived in Africa and many countries in Europe, and being multilingual has certainly helped in my transition into the travel planning industry.
Some favorites spring to mind … a walking safari in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, where I first experienced glamping. Traveling on the inaugural BlueTrain journey from Pretoria, South Africa, to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (very plush!). And then recently, my trip to Sicily.
I love taking as much stress as possible away from parents while they travel, allowing them to focus on their families and nothing else. That is success!
