Stemming from a lifelong curiosity and passion for the world, I started my career in the travel industry after graduating from college more than 25 years ago.

My Favorite Travel Experiences

I am continuously inspired through my travels and value immersive experiences.

Spain: Visiting Spain is a sensory delight, offering a rich tapestry that caters to various interests. I appreciated the gastronomy (tapas, paella, gazpacho), architecture (gothic grandeur, modernist masterpieces, rustic charm), arts (museums, flamenco music and dance), and immersive experiences.

The Netherlands: The Netherlands captivated me with its cultural heritage, vibrant arts scene, and warm hospitality. From the charming canals of Amsterdam to the picturesque windmills of Kinderdijk, the country’s unique blend of traditional and modern charm left me enchanted. But what truly made my visit special was the warm and welcoming nature of the Dutch people, who embody a society that values community, tolerance and joy.

Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands: My favorite travel experience was taking a mother-daughter trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands for my daughter’s high school graduation present. Experiencing the Galápagos, which has a variety of plants and animals found nowhere else in the world, and understanding the delicate ecosystem and all of the conservation efforts was humbling. The highlight of the Galápagos was snorkeling in Darwin Bay on San Cristobal Island. We were surrounded by numerous sea lions, sea turtles and manta rays and repeatedly saw schools of fish circling us. It was magical. We also were fortunate to travel through the Andes Mountains. We hiked one of the most beautiful trails I’ve experienced to this day, Sendero de las Isla in Papallacta, Ecuador. Visiting the Amazon rainforest was the grand finale.

U.S. national parks: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone and Grand Teton are just a few of my favorite national park experiences.

Why I Love My Job

From start to finish, I enjoy getting to know my clients, understanding what they seek to experience and take away from their vacations, and sharing the excitement of planning while creating the perfect stress-free itinerary. My ultimate goal is to have my clients return home with a greater cultural understanding, new experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
