For fans of America’s favorite pastime and idyllic wine country scenery, the perfect pairing is at bat in Napa, California, thanks to a new professional baseball team, the Napa Silverados. With 80 games each summer and 40 at their home field at Napa Valley College, just south of downtown Napa, there’s plenty of good baseball to enjoy.
While the Silverados are the show, there’s a lot more to entertain kids, too. Sign up for between-inning shenanigans such as base-stealing races, air guitar contests and musical chairs, and bring a mitt to chase down foul balls in the grass behind the first base line bleachers. When you get hungry, follow the familiar ballpark aroma of hot dogs on the grill to the Scholar Eats food truck, created by students of the Napa Valley College Tourism & Hospitality Management program. Beer and wine are also for sale, as is Silverado swag.
After the game, stick around — players gladly pose for photos with young fans and sign autographs. At just $10 per ticket, it’s the most affordable family fun in Napa Valley. Games run from June through August every summer.

This is a challenging time for our clients given the uncertainty around the spread of coronavirus, particularly for those with near-term travel plans in impacted areas. We’re working with our suppliers on being flexible with their booking conditions, and enabling families to postpone travel to a later date without a penalty, when possible. Likewise, given the unpredictability around destinations that may be impacted in the future, we’re helping clients planning new trips and understand ways that they can protect themselves until the situation improves. We are ready to help our clients work through questions and concerns.
Our offices are closed for the holiday. We will respond to your request on Monday, November 28th. If you are a Ciao Bambino client experiencing an emergency while traveling, please leave a voicemail on
