Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas Highlights with Kids

Four Seasons Las Vegas provided a media package to Ciao Bambino so we could write about the hotel for families. As always, all opinions expressed on Ciao Bambino are our own.

Las Vegas with kids? Yes! The fact is that many of the attributes that make Vegas a great adult getaway — a convenient airport, hot weather for pool time, and a long list of fun attractions  — make it a terrific all-family getaway too.

I’ve covered top things to do in Las Vegas with kids. The second half of the kid-friendly equation is where you stay. We made the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas our home for the weekend and discovered it exponentially improved the family-friendly factor of this adult-centric destination.

Outrageous strip views from Four Seasons Las Vegas

Location

The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is located at the end of the strip next to Mandalay Bay and the Luxor. This means that many restaurants and activities are still walkable, but you are not in the middle of crazy central 24×7. Plus, this vantage point makes the views from the guest rooms at the Four Seasons unbelievable.

No Casino

There’s no casino in the Four Seasons Las Vegas so families don’t need to walk through one constantly during a visit. There’s a private entrance leading right to Mandalay Bay for those parents who still want an easy gambling fix.

That said, avoiding taking your kids through casinos all together is nearly impossible as all the other activities in and around hotels involve walking through them.

Spectacular Guest Rooms

The guest rooms at the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas have recently been renovated and are absolutely breathtaking. Modern, fresh, and hip décor is right in line with what you expect and want to experience in Las Vegas. It’s done Four Seasons-style so rooms are set up for living, not just looking, and are wonderful for lounging with comfortable seating.

Suites are ideal for families with massive living room areas featuring a sofa bed and second bathroom, plus a spacious work area.

New Indoor/Outdoor Lounge

We visited in the winter while the new lounge area was still being completed … it’s ready now and the hotel sent me some photos. It is front and center in the lobby and provides a wonderful place to escape the noise but not the fun.

Swimming

The hotel has a lovely pool area. For kids, one huge perk is that Four Seasons guests can access the Mandalay Bay Beach, an 11-acre aquatic play zone with real sand, a lazy river, and three swimming pools including a 1.6 million gallon wave pool. If you are worried the Four Seasons pool will be too peaceful, the Mandalay Bay pool will allay any such concerns. Four Seasons guests also have signing privileges at Mandalay Bay restaurants.

Kid-Friendly Meals

Part of the fun in visiting Las Vegas is taking advantage of all of the incredible dining opportunities. There is a meal, however, not-to-be-missed at the Four Seasons Las Vegas and that is Sunday brunch at The Verandah. The mouth-watering spread includes homemade doughnuts, a Bloody Mary Bar for mom and dad, and practically every other brunch delight you can imagine.
