Schloss Fuschl Resort & Spa is a beautiful, historic hotel located on the banks of Lake Fuschl outside Salzburg, Austria. The renovated castle-hotel feels like it’s set in a fairytale. Rooms are elegant and traditional with modern amenities. Many of the rooms, suites, and cottages have lake views. The surrounding area is gorgeous. The concierge can help with hiring babysitters and recommending things to do in the area, including e-biking to local towns, boating, and walking the trails around the lake. The onsite restaurant is lovely, although it is too formal for very young kids. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. Schloss Fuschl is a great year-round home base for accessing the best of outdoor and urban activities in and around Salzburg with kids.
