Parador de Nerja is an oasis in a typical whitewashed Spanish village on the Costa del Sol. It’s a perfect haven for families who want the luxury of wonderful views and a beautifully manicured lawn with a private pool and playground overlooking the Mediterranean. The hotel is set on a cliff with a private elevator to a beach that offers loads of kid-friendly sand and water activities. The beach boardwalk is also home to restaurants serving grilled meats, fish and paella. Parador de Nerja has several accommodation options for families, including garden-facing rooms with a sofa bed for one to two young children. Connecting double rooms on the upper floors are great for families with teens. The bountiful breakfast is not to be missed and can be eaten on the outdoor terrace and lawn area; with familiar favorites as well as local delicacies, it’s a spread that makes everyone happy. Nerja has a small-town feel with plenty of restaurants, shops and activities for kids.
