Le Chevrefeuille is a farmhouse complex in the Dordogne countryside surrounded by fields of sunflowers. The location is exceptional as almost all of the main tourist attractions are located within a 30-minute drive. The surrounding area is full of kid-friendly castles, prehistoric caves and outdoor adventures. Room types at the hotel vary for families and include bunk beds and separate bedrooms, as well as self-catering apartments. The owners go out of their way to make the hotel family-friendly. It’s a perfect setup for kids with outdoor grassy areas to run and play, and an inside playroom that has toys for all ages plus a TV. The quiet country roads are perfect for walking or riding bikes. Kids love the freedom they have to run outside and play with the owner’s children and other guests; at the end of each day families often gather at the pool for a swim or game of foosball.
