Honua Kai Resort is an affordable luxury option for families who want top-notch condo amenities paired with the services of an upscale hotel. The one- to three-bedroom suites are ideal for multi-generational trips with kids as they are spacious with room for everyone to spread out. Furnishings are light and contemporary, yet still kid-friendly. Lanais are glass-lined and feature all you need to dine al fresco every night. The beachfront grounds include wide-open spaces for kids to run around. Meals are easy given the onsite gourmet grocery store with all kinds of organic goodies, plus there is a Duke’s restaurant onsite and room service is available. Although the beach in front of the hotel is not swimmable for young kids, it’s an excellent place for kayaking and water sports. The pool is the highlight with activities for all ages (they have a full aquatic playground) plus cabanas to escape the sun in comfort and style.
