The Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort is beautifully situated on the golden sands that fringe Mauritius’ buzzy south coast. Recently renovated guest rooms are spacious and comfortable. The resort’s family rooms sleep four, but opt for a suite or villa for additional privacy. Multi-generational families can find something for all ages! Baby and toddler equipment is readily available and there are experienced babysitters to watch kids, day or night. Children under two receive complimentary care at the baby club; while children ages 2 through 11 can check into the Timomo & Friends kids’ club and fish for crabs or play games in the pool. Tweens and teens can enjoy horseback riding, golf, or mountain bike treasure hunts. Adults can choose from a host of all-inclusive watersports, relax in the delightful spa complex, or sip a cocktail by one of the freeform swimming pools that snake through the resort. At mealtimes, there’s a range of restaurants from which to choose.
