CB! Approved Hotels and Resorts

Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni 1 is in a fabulous central location, steps from the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River, and a short stroll from Florence highlights the Uffizi Gallery, Galleria dell’Accademia and Duomo. Despite the ‘heart of Florence’ location, the hotel feels quiet and peaceful, especially at night. The ambiance is upscale, yet comfortable, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The building is charming with wonderful, old world bones. Rooms and suites are spacious and simply, but tastefully appointed; some have kitchen facilities. There’s a DVD and game library available for children. The rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of Florence and makes an ideal spot to begin and end the day, with breakfast, complimentary tea and coffee around the clock, evening aperitifs, and an honesty bar for late-night cocktails.
