The Fairmont Orchid

The Fairmont Orchid has many amenities for families including options for connecting rooms and full buffet breakfasts with children in mind, as well as casual and upscale dining options. There is a long list of activities for all ages and packages are available to rent water equipment for use during the stay. There is a man-made sand beach and “protected” area for swimming with minimal waves, another beach area for exploring the volcanic rock formations and natural coral which has washed ashore, and a children’s sand wading pool. The keiki program has day and evening activities where the children explore local caves with petrogylphs and visit other resorts to see sharks. There is also tennis, a sand volleyball court, swimming with green sea turtles native to the area, and family-oriented classes on Hawaiian crafts and culture. The resort is conveniently located near other resorts and local shopping.
