Community Recommended Hotels and Resorts

This historic hotel is known as the “Castle in the Rockies,” and it lives up to that title. Nestled in the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Banff National Park, it is a very special place to stay. It offers one of the best year-round outdoor pools anywhere, with breathtaking views and scenery. There is a great little kids’ pool for babies and toddlers, and children also love ice skating by the river during winter months (as well as winter skiing). In summer, hiking and mountain biking abounds. If parents have a chance to sneak away to the spa, it’s well worth it and never disappoints.
