CB! Approved Hotels and Resorts

Buttermilk Falls Inn and Spa located in Milton, New York, is just a 70-mile ride from New York City. Despite its proximity to a busy highway, we were delighted to find a tranquil, majestic property full of fantastical gardens, a working farm and grand views of the Hudson River. The farm includes orchards, an aviary house, and livestock barn. The main house dates back to the 18th century and has a sense of old-time charm, yet the guest room decor has been updated and they feel upscale. Family-friendly features include spacious guest houses with kitchens, as well as loads of green space (estate is 75 acres) for hiking and playing. The onsite restaurant, Henry’s at the Farm, sources many of their ingredients from the farm; food is unbelievably fresh and delicious.
