Santa Barbara is one of those California places folks know about, even if they’ve never been. It has a reputation for top attractions like sandy beaches, sunny days and wine. Put them all together and you’ve got a great combination for a family vacation. Here’s my list of top things to do in Santa Barbara with kids:
Laguna Beach is an artsy, hip, yet casual beach town in southern California. It’s a walking town with a Socal vibe and it always seems to be hopping. This city is an exceptional destination for families; it has a plethora of dining and hotel options, endless beach and water activities, and one-of-a-kind shopping boutiques on cozy, European-feeling tree-lined streets. If you’re looking for a “new” region to explore in France this summer beyond the big name destinations like the Loire Valley, Provence, and the French Riviera, the Dordogne region is a blast to visit with kids of all ages.
