Before Becoming an Advisor …
I ran a Gift & Home Decor Store in Wisconsin. Working in customer-service has always filled my cup and I take pride in building valuable relationships with clients. I’ve always prioritized traveling in my life, so when the opportunity came to combine the two, I did not hesitate!
I got my feet wet by becoming an Admin for Ciao Bambino – learning the back-end of the industry. After a year of watching my colleagues as Advisors, I knew this industry was for me. Becoming an Associate Advisor seemed like the natural next step.
My Favorite Travel Experiences
While exploring a new city, you’ll find me perusing a local flea market, wandering any history museum, or enjoying any walking tour that focuses on architecture & design. Aaaaand food. Lots of food, of course!
I was fortunate to study abroad twice in college; once in London and the other time in Kenya. Both experiences broadened my horizons and sparked a desire for exploration. To me, traveling is all about making connections with those who seem worlds apart at first, but can still laugh at the same joke or enjoy the same meal. The people I met through my travels have inspired me to keep coming back for more.
Why I love my job
I love my job, because I’m always learning. Whether there’s a new hotel in France or a great travel route throughout Vietnam. In this global industry, every day is different. I get to build relationships with not just clients, but suppliers from all over the world.
I strongly believe the world would be a better place if more people took the time to explore and understand other cultures. I’m lucky I get to advise this into action, while creating experiences for families to enjoy and look back on for years to come. What could be better?
