Indoor activities include arts and crafts, baking/cooking, and indoor sports. A library of books and board games is also on hand. All food is locally sourced and follows many “slow food” principles. Within the estate is a 50-acre lake for fishing or kayaking, as well as the amazing Ireland Sky Garden Crater. Guest rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated. The Lake Lodge can be taken as a self-catering property, with 10 guest rooms, a lounge, a dining room, a kitchen and a conservatory.
