We didn’t think the opportunity to ski with our children and have a relaxing and luxurious vacation at the same time existed until we found the St. Regis Deer Valley. Located 40 minutes from the airport in Salt Lake City, the slopeside resort is easy to access with ski-in/ski-out accommodations. The 171 guest rooms include spacious suites with fireplaces and full gourmet kitchens. Interconnecting rooms and suites, as well as 2- to 4-bedroom residences, are available for larger families. Panoramic mountain views and outdoor firepits complement the casually elegant atmosphere and are perfect for après-ski relaxation. Service is outstanding throughout the resort, though the ski valets deserve a special mention: They helped our children get ready each morning for the ski day, which was convenient and stress-free for us. The restaurants onsite are fabulous. While it’s tempting to spend all your time at the resort, there are house SUVs available to shuttle guests within Deer Valley and to Park City.
