Located on a wildly beautiful island in Bocas del Toro on the edge of a national park, Red Frog Beach Resort is a unique getaway for families seeking an exotic and off-the-beaten-path beach vacation. The American owner has developed an expansive complex with one- to six-bedroom villas and condos in all shapes and sizes that can be purchased or rented. Although the villas feel very independent, resort guests share amenities including a restaurant, a spa and a private beach with limited services. All villas have small private pools. There’s no shortage of adventure activities, including jungle hikes, zip-lining, deep sea fishing and surfing. The beaches on the island are rugged, unspoiled and spectacular.
