The location and views from Lone Mountain Ranch are amazing. The property is very family-friendly, with a children’s program and extensive year-round outdoor activities. Guests stay in cozy log cabins scattered throughout the property. Summer activity favorites include fly fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. The horseback riding program is exceptional with horses for every type of rider and includes a children’s rodeo at the end of  four or seven day stays. Cross-country, alpine skiing, and sleigh ride dinners are winter activity favorites. Yellowstone National Park is just 18 miles from Lone Mountain Ranch and accessible for day trips. The food and staff are both excellent. There’s a fabulous massage therapist onsite too.
