Boutique Hotel El Pez

It’s a great space for enjoying a meal or simply soaking in Caribbean sights and sounds. The beach is fantastic for kids as it’s semi-private and the waves tend to be small and gentle. Lucky families who visit during turtle season, May through September, may experience sea turtle nesting, as the property is located on Turtle Cove, a popular nesting site; the hightlight of our trip was helping the turtle wrangler relocate a freshly laid nest of turtle eggs to a safer location. El Pez is a convenient home-base for exploring Tulum and the surrounding area and it’s close to a variety of compelling outdoor activities.
