If you follow Ciao Bambino regularly you know that I adore skiing at Sun Valley Resort in Idaho with kids. Good news, there are great ski deals happening this season!
Ski.com and Sun Valley have partnered to offer skiers and snowboarders incredible savings on United Airlines flights to Sun Valley that originate or connect through San Francisco during both directions of travel through the end of the winter season. Through the promotion, those who book travel between now and March 30, 2014 are eligible to save up to $200 per ticket.
United began direct, daily flight service from San Francisco to Sun Valley in early December. Families can pair this deal with the resort’s “Kids Ski Free” program where kids get free lift tickets (ages 15 and under) with purchase of an adult lift ticket. The full details of the promotion are available here. To book the flight offer, call (800) 672-3213.
Kids ski’ free requires that families stay at the Sun Valley Lodge. We were there over the holidays for a week and loved it. Shopping, dining, swimming, ice skating, and even bowling, are all available in the European-style resort village.
Note, the kids’ ski free package at Sun Valley is available to anyone who books a room at the Sun Valley Lodge; you don’t need to participate in the ski offer to take advantage of this savings. A Ciao Bambino Family Vacation Consultant is happy to help book rooms and advise regarding other travel details. Go to My Trip Planner to request assistance.
