Verdura Resort is a wonderful, contemporary resort for all ages offering six villas, spacious guest rooms, lots of green space for playing, and an idyllic private beach. Families can bike their way around the expansive property set over 230 hectares. The onsite restaurants are delicious and include child-friendly meal options. The abundant breakfast spread is especially amazing. Verdura Resort has a seasonal kids’ club for ages 4-12, as well as outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The spa is wonderful for parents with a long list of treatment choices. Service throughout the resort is exceptional. Although the location is somewhat isolated, there are a long list of possible excursions including the astounding Valley of the Temples in the UNESCO-protected town of Agrigento. Verdura is an easy choice for families, making it one of the best resorts in Sicily.
