The Springs Resort and Spa

Set in a lush forest with spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano, The Springs Resort & Spa is a perfect base for families who want upscale resort amenities with easy access to a huge list of adventure activities, on and off the property. The resort highlight, 18 swimming pools fed from the local hot mineral springs, entertains families for hours. The other wonderful amenity is the Club Rio Outdoor Center with guided river tubing, river kayaking, horseback riding, a climbing wall, and a wildlife preserve for rescued animals where kids can get a close look at Costa Rica’s incredible animals. Rooms are the nicest we experienced during our travels in Costa Rica and feature private verandas. Waking up to the cries of Howler Monkeys outside our door will stick with us forever.
