So many places to see, so little time, particularly for those of us with school-age kids. Here’s a list of a few of the places we’re most excited to visit this year. What’s on your bucket list?
Places We’re Excited to Visit in 2015
> Night snorkel with Manta Rays and snorkeling a sea turtle habitat. Need I say more? Un-Cruise Hawaiian Seascapes is in the works. – Dana Rebmann
> Prague, because I can’t wait to see how beautiful it is in person and I find its history fascinating. I’m a medieval history buff, so its old town will be one big playground for me. – Lisa Frederick
> I’m dreaming about Cuba — it’s a place my husband and I have longed to explore and we’re so happy that we can finally travel there. We also want to visit before it changes and gets more commercialized. – Holly Rosen Fink
> Next June, I’m spending three Weeks in Ecuador with my family. The trip includes time in Quito, a Galapagos cruise, biking the waterfall route, staying in a hacienda and volunteering. In my early twenties, I studied and volunteered in Quito for two years and I’ve always dreamed of showing my family the country and experiences that made me fall in love with travel. – Kristi Marcelle
> I’m looking forward to a long overdue winter beach vacation at the new Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina, Saint Lucia … it just opened on December 15th! – Sandy Pappas
> Mine is Coastal Croatia. It’s very much like Italy, but with a more exotic feel. I can’t wait to explore the UNESCO heritage site Dubrovnik, with walled old town and drawbridges. – Gina DiPrima
> I’m obsessed with getting to Asia as a family. Vietnam and Cambodia are high on my priority list for 2015 after reading about Nancy’s phenomenal trip last year. -Amie O’Shaughnessy
> We’re heading to Puglia to visit a different cultural side of Italy where we’ll visit the UNESCO site Alberobello to see the gnome-like villages. – Laurel Perry
> Traveling to continental Europe is always such a temptation for my family during our few years living in England as American expats, but this year we’re determined to see more of Great Britain. I’m currently planning trips to Wales and Scotland in the coming months. -Nicole Wiltrout
> On the docket for 2015 is a mother-daughter trip to France in June and we’re taking the whole crew to Israel for spring break. – Nancy Solomon
> I would love to get down to Australia and check out some of the fab new family-friendly hotels in the Maldives enroute. – Anna Tobin
